Kids do the darndest things, am I right? In this day and age, lots of folks have saved credit card information to online retailers like Amazon. While it makes ordering way more conveninent, it is also suuuuper easy for accidents to happen.

I've luckily avoided my almost 11-year-old going on a shopping spree, but I've heard some serious horror stories. One of my friends was shocked to find her elementary schooler had ordered himself a fancy $500 bunk bed. Another put their pre-teen to WORK to pay back hundreds in online gaming bucks she never approved.

What a nightmare! Recently, a mom in Central Kentucky found one heck of a sweet but not-so-sweet surprise on her front porch. THIRTY CASES of Dum Dum suckers.

According to WKYT, a 2nd-grader named Liam accidentally ordered 70,000 lollipops on Amazon and was very excited to see them arrive, “My suckers are here!” he said. At $130 a case, Liam's mama was less than thrilled, but contacted Amazon to see if they could be returned.

She posted on Facebook, "I contact Amazon as soon as I realized what had happened. They originally told me to reject the delivery and they would refund my money. The driver never knocked or rang the doorbell so now they will not take them back." Even though the cases are sealed, they had to get creative to re-coup around $4,000.

Amazon did let her return eight of the boxes, so she put out a plea to friends and neighbors for help to sell the remaining twenty-two. Someone suggested reaching out to banks or doctors' offices, which I thought was genius. Thankfully, Liam has a very patient and forgiving mama.
