Indiana is full of a lot of great small towns. As someone who is from a small town in Indiana, I am proud of where I come from. Boonville, Indiana is a great place to raise a family and to call home. I don't care what anyone says. If you have ever traveled through some of these small towns in Indiana, most of these little towns in the state are pretty charming. There's so much hometown pride in these small towns. The Indiana small town talk continues. The website, Travel & Leasure recently found the 19 Best Small Towns in the U.S. to See Fall Foliage. Out of all the beautiful small towns in the United States that have great views in the fall, there was only one on this list that comes from Indiana.

Travel & Leasure says that one of the best small towns in the country to see fall foliage is none other than Nashville, Indiana.

You might not have heard of Nashville, Indiana — and that's what makes it so great — but this under-the-radar town shines in the fall. Every year, between late September and early November, the leaves make their colorful transformation. While in town, visit <a href="https://www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/parks-lakes/brown-county-state-park/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-component="link" data-source="inlineLink" data-type="externalLink" data-ordinal="1">Brown County State Park</a>, home to nearly 20 miles of tree-lined roads and a network of hiking and biking trails.

It should come as no surprise to anyone who has been to Nashville, Indiana during the fall that this small town landed on the list. It's absolutely beautiful that time of year. Brown County has been nicknamed the “Little Smokies” because of the area’s resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains. There, you'll find nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges, and fog-shrouded ravines.

Aside from the great fall foliage views, there really is a lot to see and do there. From the delicious food, numerous shops, and everything in between, there is something there for everyone in the family to enjoy. Plus it's not far from Brown County State Park, which is perfect for camping and more outdoor fun.
