Bundle up! December is going to start colder than usual in 2024.

I don't know about you, but I am not a fan of winter weather. The cold temperatures mixed with stinging wind, freezing rain, and snow are something that I dread every year. I'm the type of person who would rather be hot than cold. The cold just hurts. In any event, there is no escaping the cold weather we are about to experience this winter here in Indiana and Kentucky...unless of course, you travel down south for the winter.  As you know, some parts of Indiana and Kentucky are colder than others. So, if you're like me and don't like the cold, you might want to brace yourself because the National Weather Service just made a statement that will send chills down your spine.

Indiana & Kentucky Could See Record Low Temperatures Going into December

According to a post made by the National Weather Service out of Paducah, Kentucky, Indiana and Kentucky could very well see some record-low temperatures in early December. We are talking about temperatures 10 to 15 degrees below normal. According to the National Weather Service:

Confidence is growing that a wave of well-below normal temperatures will impact the region to open December. The coldest temperatures of the season by far and possibly single digit wind chills are possible during this time.

I'm sorry..."Single-digit wind chills are possible during this time?" That's not something that I am ready to deal with. So, we know that the cold weather is coming. What can you do ahead of time to prepare for this? Let's take a look at some winter weather hacks that you can use ahead of the weather we will be experiencing in Indiana and Kentucky below.
