Louisville Police Department Plows Through Winter Storm Fern With Award Winning Tweets
Law Enforcement Does Have A Personality!
Whoever is running the X account for the Louisville Police Department deserves a raise. As the majority of police departments do, the LPD issued multiple warnings and asked drivers to stay indoors during Winter Storm Fern. As is often the case, several people did not heed the warning and ended up in situations the LPD had unfortunately predicted. Without missing a beat, the LPD took to X to call out those who did not listen, but not with typical police-type postings. They didn't hold back and called out drivers for not listening. On Facebook, they took the liberty of calling out their own officers! In one post, they show an officer driving a Police SUV up the high-side of an embankment, captioned with, "Officer Cantdriveforcrap got high-sided in an embankment. Way to make us look cool, bro." In another instance, an officer is driving through downtown Louisville, doing welfare checks on citizens walking in the cold. As he drives past a statue, he admits he thought the statue was a real person, so they told him to "go home, bro." Check out the videos:

What Did The Louisville Police Department Say On X?
In the most human way possible, the LPD is calling out drivers and saying what everyone else is thinking. For some reason, they appear to have a thing for Taco Bell, as many of their tweets reference the food chain. One tweet requests citizens not have a 17-year-old kid, DoorDash, your must-have Taco Bell for dinner. Here are some of the best from their storm posts:
