This is just a tragedy all the way around.  I'm sure you've heard the news of the Blue Angels jet that crashed in Tennessee yesterday, they were there for an air show and during practice one of the jets went down, and unfortunately the pilot didn't make it.  Hunter Hayes was in Tennessee at the time, and saw it happen, because he was supposed to go for a ride IN one of the Blue Angels.

According to his publicist Hunter Hayes was supposed to go for a ride in one of the Blue Angels jets, and when he got there he was watching them practice, and according to his publicist the crash happened right in front of him. The pilot was Marine Captain Jeff Kuss, he performed in Evansville last year when the Blue Angels were in town.

This is such a terrible tragedy, and while we're glad to hear Hunter Hayes is safe (he was never in harms way), our hearts break and our thoughts and prayers go out to Captain Jeff Kuss, and his family, and the entire Blue Angels team.
