High Score Saloon on the Main Street Walkway in downtown Evansville haven't only established themselves as fun place for adults to go and have a good time, they've also shown an intense passion for the community and a strong desire to help raise funds and bring awareness to several non-profits in the area, which they'll do again on Friday, September 20th (2019) when they host what they've dubbed, "BarkAid" for the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.

If you're unfamiliar with High Score Saloon, it's basically an adult version of the arcades we hung out in as kids. They have classic pinball machines along with other retro video games, the difference being, you can drink alcohol while trying to set the high score on Galaga or Pac-Man. Last time I checked, you couldn't do that when you were playing those games in the arcades of our youth.

The fundraiser starts at 5:00 p.m. Friday with a $3.00 cover charge at the door. All cover charges will go directly to the VHS.
