I just thought this was a thing that everybody did. But, apparently they don't and some doctors aren't very fond of the idea of using it this way. It works for me.

Let's start with the moment I realized that this isn't a thing. So, I came home from the grocery store last week and my husband helped me carry in the groceries and unpack them. As he was pulling things out of a bag, he grabbed a tube of hemorrhoid ointment. He looked at me with a concerned look and ask me why I got it. Did I have hemorrhoids? The answer was, no.

But, I did have wrinkles around my eyes. Yes, I use hemorrhoid ointment around my eyes to tighten the delicate skin around my eyes. It says on the the tube that it shrinks tissue. It really is a miracle eye cream. The ointment, like the word sounds, is a little sticky and greasy, but used sparingly, with time to soak in, it works wonders.

Now, I have no medical proof that this works. In fact, I have read that some doctors would recommend NOT using it. It's just is something that my grandma taught my mom and my mom taught me. You shouldn't use it everyday. If you notice more dark circles and wrinkles under the eyes then normal, dab a little tiny bit under each eye for a quick pick me up.
