Evansville’s IU School of Dentistry Needs Your Teeth
The dental clinic at the IU School of Dentistry in downtown Evansville is now open and they're looking for some teeth to practice on.
According to our media partners at Eyewitness News, the clinic, inside the Stone Family Center on Walnut Street currently has two final year students ready to see patients however, there is space for up to 16. No word on when or if the clinic will have that many practitioners available.
The clinic will offer basic cleanings, fillings, and tooth extractions at a lower cost than a typical visit to the dentist. If your checkup shows you require a more involved procedure such as a root canal, a crown, braces, etc. they'll help you find a local dentist or orthodontist who can handle the procedure.
For more information, or to book an appointment, call the clinic at (812) 909-7007.
