Did you know that the type of body soap you use could make you more prone to mosquito bites? Me neither.

I don't know about you, but I always have a BAD mosquito problem in my yard. I can't even walk outside for two minutes without having to swat those pests away. It's a nuisance that nobody wants to deal with. Maybe you have tried citronella candles while sitting on your patio. That helps some. Perhaps you have lemongrass or peppermint plants in your yard to help keep the mosquitoes away. Somehow it seems that they are all only so effective. Basically, mosquitoes like plant-nectar, so any type of scent that is similar to that could cause mosquitoes to be more attracted to you. It could also "confuse their decision-making" meaning they could mistake your scent for plant-nectar itself. So, if you use a floral soap and find you are always being swarmed by mosquitoes, you may want to switch things up, especially if you are planning on being outdoors.
