Evansville Public Libraries Early Voting Days and Locations

Election Day 2022 is set for Tuesday, November 8th. If you live in Evansville and don't think you'll be able to make it to your local polling center, or you've already thoroughly researched all the candidates running for office and know who you want to cast a vote for, but don't want to wait, the Evansville-Vanderburg Public Library (EVPL) is once again offering you the opportunity to cast your vote early starting two weeks before Election Day.

Who is on This Year's Ballot?

While this year's election cycle isn't a presidential election year, there are several state and local elections, all of which will have an impact on our day-to-day lives. For example, Senator Todd Young is up for re-election to represent the state in the U.S. Senate, as is Congressman Larry Buschon who has represented the 8th District of Indiana since 2011. On a state level, a new Secretary of State will be elected after the current office holder, and Newburgh native, Holli Sullivan, lost the Republican primary to Diego Morales back in May. Other state races include State Treasurer and State Auditor, as well as State Senate District 49 and State Representative District 77.

Locally, Evansville and Vanderburgh County residents will elect a new sheriff, along with a new county prosecutor, auditor, assessor, school board members, and more. You can find all the races on your ballot by entering your address at Vote411.org, a nonpartisan website created by the League of Women Voters Education Fund to serve as a "one-stop-shop" for election-related information for every election in the country.
