Evansville Business Owner Opens Up about Struggles in Facebook Video “Times are Hard”
The community rallies behind one local business after the owner posts an open and honest message about his business' struggle.
Bobaccinos Cafe
A little cafe is located in the North Brook Shopping Plaza just off First Ave. Bobaccinos Cafe is more than just a boba shop, it's part boba shop, part diner. As they describe themselves on Facebook:
A boba diner with coffee shop and bakery. Or maybe a cafe with diner and boba. Either way works.
From tasty beverages to sweet baked goods, to savory sandwiches, there's something for everyone at this unique little cafe. According to Bobaccinos Cafe's website, the cafe was inspired by the owner's love of coffee and his kids' love of boba.
Along with plenty of unique, housemade beverages, they also offer a wide array of food.
We specialize in offering a variety of different sandwiches, baked goods, and fusion products. Our range of inspirations and obsessions include Italian coffees, Nepali seasonings, Mexican Sausage, Taiwanese drinks, Japanese street foods, Nepali seasoning blends, Hoosier chicken salad, French cookies, American Diner Plates, and so much more! If we love it, we just might make it. We are a talented and creative group of people working together to make an experience unlike any other local business has before! Come visit us at 3848 N First Ave Evansville, IN and see why we like to say that “a Boba Diner is the greatest innovation since sliced bread”, you won’t find anywhere else like us around! Bobaccinos Cafe hasn't been open all that long, and recently owner, Brad Bodart took to Facebook to share a brutally honest message about the fate of this unique business.
Bobaccinos Cafe Opens Up About Struggles
Bobaccinos Cafe has been open for just over a year, but unfortunately, they are already facing a hardship. Recently, their owner took to Facebook to post a video. In the caption, he says "One minute of keeping it real." And in the video, the owner shares that the fate of the business is currently up in the air. Essentially they are struggling to make ends meet, and are asking for the community's help.
I think it takes great courage to be open and honest like this. To come out and say "hey guys, we are struggling." I will say, that I think part of the problem they may have is I thought it was just a boba tea place, I had no idea they had everything from pastries to cheeseburgers (which I've seen people rave about online). This is also an important reminder to help support our local businesses. So I'll be making plans to enjoy lunch at Bobaccinos Cafe this week and finally check it out, I hope you will too!
