Joanna Smith Stops By “911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive” (2012)

It was three years ago, Country Music Recording Artist Joanna Smith stopped by to help support our annual 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive at the eastside Walmart.
She was in town opening up for Chris Young that evening at The Old National Events Plaza (formerly The Centre). I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing her on 99.5 WKDQ that afternoon at our toy drive. Later that night, Joanna sang many favorites including the 2012 hit, “We Can’t Be Friends” in a great acoustic performance loved by the audience and is still a favorite with listeners all over the tri-state area today.

I hope to see you at this year's 911 Gives Hope Toy Drive on Sunday, Dec. 6th at the eastside Walmart from 10am - 2pm.  Donations of new toys or cash will be accepted through Sunday night at 6pm.
