Unless you have been living in a bubble for the past couple of weeks, the below Kmart ad is one of the most popular videos on YouTube right now with more than 13 million views. The ad promotes Kmart's free shipping of purchases under 150-pounds. The ad features customers using different variations of the phrase "I shipped my pants." First of all, this is one the funniest and most creative ad campaigns EVER and the person behind it is a marketing genius. Second, the ad just flat out works and gets the message out perfectly.

Well, one group is not amused and is demanding that Kmart pull the ad because they say its "disgusting and ridiculous." The group is a conservative Christian group called One Million Moms and they are highly offended by the ad. OMM is asking people to use social media and e-mail to pressure Kmart into pulling the spot.

Whatever happened to having fun and laughing at something that is totally gut-busting hysterical? I am so sick of some people looking for anything they can to get pissed off about and take issue with. Yes, the ad is a clever play on words that definitely straddles the line, but doesn't cross it, so why all the fuss?

Advertising is all about creativity and creating top of mind awareness, which this ad clearly does. The message is about free shipping and you know that immediately. How many times have you a seen a clever and funny commercial that is so good, you can't remember the name of the product or what it's all about?

Some of the most memorable ads in advertising history were complete failures because the actual product got completely lost in the creativity of the ad. Alka Seltzer did a very famous commercial featuring a guy eating a meatball and saying, "That's a spicy meatball." Most people thought the ad was for spaghetti sauce and had no clue it was for Alka Seltzer and that's just one example.

Unfortunately, there are people out there who are just looking for any reason to pick a fight and to point a finger in any direction away from themselves to make them feel better about their own lives. The Kmart ad works and is freakin' hilarious...PERIOD!!

This group has also targeted Oreo, Pepsi and McDonald's in the past because they obviously have nothing better to do than to find fault and that is very sad.

Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham has a very popular character named Jose Jalapeno on a Stick. The puppet is a talking jalapeno pepper with a big stick jetting out from underneath. Even though Dunham has never said it, I firmly believe that character is a metaphor for a large portion of our society...and you know who you are.
