4th Annual Make-A-Wish Cottages for Kids Raffle Starts Saturday

Southern Indiana Events benefitting Make-A-Wish® is hosting its 4th annual “Cottages for Kids” fundraising event presented by Parade of Homes in partnership with Old National Bank. Beginning on Saturday, June 1st and running through Sunday, June 9th, children may win their own “Cottage” in a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish. Cottages for Kids coincides with the Parade of Homes event and provides a neighborhood of playhouses, located near the corner of Vogel and N Burkhardt in Evansville. Cottages are up for grabs by random raffle draw. Everyone is invited to participate.

Once again, champions of our community have built uniquely designed children’s playhouses that will be given to lucky winners and delivered to their homes. Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $25 (Cash or Check). Look for the Make-A-Wish Star on the Parade of Homes map. Some of our builders include the following: Two-time “Cottage of the Year” Winner Scott Township Fire & EMS, IKORCC Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters, Southern Indiana Realtors Association and Kight Home Center.

Wishes are proven to improve the health of a child. All proceeds stay right here in the local community to grant Wishes for our local kids. Forty local children have asked and qualified for Wishes thus far in 2019. At an average Wish cost of $8,000, we need to sell a lot of raffle tickets! Please, join us at our Cottages neighborhood in support of the kids. Southern Indiana Events benefitting Make-A-Wish is a local council representing the Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana chapter. Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children with life-threatening illness to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Buy a raffle ticket and Spark the Wish Effect!
