2015 was a great year for country music, but with the New Year quickly approaching, who will shine in 2016? Here are 10 artists that just might dominate 2016:

Dylan Scott

If you haven't heard him yet, you will. Dylan is going to be out on the road with Lee Bryce in 2016 and is expected to get a big push with Curb Records. He is the total package; the guy can sing, entertain, and the ladies love him! Look for Dylan to have a breakout year in 2016.

Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea made a huge impact on the country scene in 2015. With hit after hit, expect that to continue into 2016. She will be hitting the road with Billy Currington this coming year, so be on the lookout for Kelsea to continue to build upon the success she had in 2015.

Luke Bryan

This is a no-brainer. Luke dominated 2015 with hit after hit and scoring his second CMA Entertainer of the Year Award. His popularity in country music is at an all time high, so don't expect anything different from him in 2016.

Thomas Rhett

Thomas' star power keeps growing and growing! After co-headlining a tour with Brett Eldridge and releasing multiple top ten singles in 2015, there is no reason to expect anything less than a stellar year from him in 2016. I would not be surprised if Thomas has his own headlining tour by the end of 2016.

Cam

Expect to hear a lot more from this girl in 2016! Cam had everyone in awe of her debut single, 'Burning House', and her debut album called Untamed topped the iTunes charts at number 4 in its first week. This California girl has only just begun to leave her mark in country music.

Florida Georgia Line

These guys have been on fire since their debut single, 'Cruise'. Now with their second album out, look for them to come back bigger and better with their third album in 2016. They have already hyped it by saying that it will change country music. Only time will tell, but FGL won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Miranda Lambert

This lady had one crazy 2015...and not in any way she would have liked. However, she has been dominating as a female in country music by scoring her sixth consecutive CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Award. Look for her to somewhat reinvent herself in 2016 and continue to be one of the most successful females in the industry in 2016.

Little Big Town

How do you top the year these guys had in 2015? Girl Crush was one of the biggest hits of the year and defiantly the biggest of their career. These guys have the sound, and the entertaining abilities to easily have continued success.  Little Big Town has a lot to live up to in 2016, but I have no doubt that they will find a way to out-do themselves yet again.

Sam Hunt

What a year Sam had! He took country music by storm, captivating people with his sound and (for the ladies) looks. Sam has proven to  be a force to be reckoned with in this business. With hit after hit, he remains one of the most popular artists of 2015. Wither you love him or hate him, Sam Hunt is here to stay in country music.

Chris Stapleton

After a huge night for Chris at this year's CMA Awards, his talents have finally become mainstream. Chris proved to the world that he has one of the best voices in country music today with his epic performance with Justin Timberlake. Expect him to capitalize on this success in 2016. With the support of Nashville, Chris Stapleton has finally arrived in country music!
