It seems like every single TV cartoon makes its way to the big screen. Everything from ‘The Flintstones’ to ‘Transformers,’ and now we’re getting another one: Woody Woodpecker.

Universal and Illumination Entertainment have announced that they’re making a big screen version of the iconic cartoon about the woodpecker with the annoying laugh. Illumination also did the animated features ‘Despicable Me’ and ‘The Lorax.’
