You’ll Never Believe The Voice Behind New Snickers Commericals

The voice behind the new "Snickers satisfies" commercials might sound familiar, and if you're a '90s kid, you'll be shocked to find out who it is.

A lot of companies use familiar names to voice their commercials. Some of which are more obvious than others. Every now and then, you will see a commercial on television and hear a voice come on over the ad and think that it sounds familiar, but you can't quite put your finger on who it is. A couple of examples include the Arby's "We Got the Meats" commercials and the memorable Geico "Hump Day" camel commercial. However, there are many commercials that you see that have someone doing the voice that you'd never even suspect.

By now, you have seen your fair share of Snickers commercials. I've seen a lot of them, but I was today years old when I found out who the guy was that voices those famous words, "Snickers satisfies." Apparently, this guy has done quite a few memorable Snickers commercials. Here's one for reference. Take a listen to the voice at the end and see if you can guess who it is.

Who is the Guy That Voices the Snickers Commercials?

Now that I know who the guy is who voices the Snickers commercials, I can hear it. But before yesterday, I never even thought about it. I'll admit that I was mind-blown to find out that the guy who has been voicing the Snickers commercials is a guy that Millennials like myself grew up watching. I'm talking about Steve Burns. If that name doesn't ring a bell, then how about this...Steve from Blue's Clues!

YES! Steve from Blue's Clues is the voice behind the Snickers commercials. Bet you didn't expect that, did you? I learned about this when an Instagram post from Galaxy Con popped up on my feed. In the video, Steve talks about how we've heard him our whole lives in commercials such as Snickers. Check it out:

What Commercials Does Steve Burns Voice?

I found a pretty cool video on YouTube that features many of the commercials that feature voiceover work from Steve Burns. I'd be willing to bet that you'll remember some of these, and you probably had no idea he was the voice behind them. These include commercials from McDonald's, Lowe's, KFC, Snapple, ETrade, Gillette, and more. You can see these clips in the video below:
