All about fried chicken served with spicy hot honey, The Eagle pairs juicy yet crispy poultry pieces with the ultimate selection of all-American sides. There are fries, of course, as well as succotash, horseradish mashed potatoes, skillet cornbread with maple butter, and an irresistible mac ‘n’ cheese. The highly rated chicken also comes in a sandwich with coleslaw and house pickles, while another tasty option is the fried chicken BLT with bacon, avocado relish, and jalapeño honey mayo, served on rustic Italian bread.

The Eagle wasn't the only restaurant that LoveFood mentioned when it comes to the best fried chicken in Indiana. Here's what LoveFood said about Wagner's Village Inn:

"Some of the best fried chicken in the Midwest sizzles in cast-iron skillets at Wagner’s Village Inn in Oldenburg," according to the James Beard Foundation. The prestigious organization awarded Wagner's an America's Classics Award in 2023, praising the family-run joint for its no-recipe fried chicken that's fried lavishly in hog fat. It's been a local institution since 1968 and is still going strong.

16 Indiana Towns with Dirty-Sounding Names

A majority of these towns were given their names in the mid-to-late 1800s as settlers making their way across the country found unclaimed plots of land and decided to make them their own. While I imagine they thought the names they came up with were innocent, and perhaps a tribute to something in their lives, pop culture has warped our minds to the point since then that we can't help but think of something about the town that was never intended by its founders. Take a look at this list. I guarantee there's at least one name that will make you chuckle.
