Indiana Restaurant Named Home of One of America’s Best Lasagnas

It's official! Indiana has one of the best lasagnas in the country.

If I have one food weakness, it's Italian food. It's no lie when I tell you that I could eat it every day...if my better half would allow me. Spaghetti, lasagna, ziti, alfredo, chicken parmesan, the list goes on and on. It's a trait that my two-year-old daughter picked up from me. If you ask her what she wants for dinner, every time she will respond with "pasta." So, when I hear about a list of the best lasagna dishes in America, I'm natually going to check it out. As it turns out, one Indiana restaurant serves up one of the best lasagans in the country.

Indiana is Home to One of the Best Lasagnas in the United States

Lucky for us, Indiana has one joint that ranks among the top-20 lasagna in the United States, according to LoveFood. This lasgana can be found at Iozzo's Garden of Italy, in Indianapolis.

Family-run Iozzo’s Garden of Italy (so called because it has a beautiful garden patio) dates back to the 1930s – so it’s fair to say its lasagna has stood the test of time. One for the carnivores, the dish is heavy on the meat sauce and can be accompanied by meatballs. It comes artistically draped in both marinara and Alfredo sauces.
