There's a recent article from World Population Review that used Expedia to look at how many travelers booked hotels near certain attractions and then at the popularity of points of interest based on search volume. Two Indiana Destinations Named Among Best Places to Visit in the U.S.

According to the list compiled by World Population Review, the best places to travel to in Indiana is the University of Notre Dame and Indiana Dunes State Park. The latter of which, is honestly a no-brainer, but I was kind of shocked by Notre Dame. Here's what World Population Review had to say:

One of the most popular attractions in Indiana is the University of Notre Dame. This great educational institution is known for its football program and prestige and is home to the Snite Museum of Art. For the adventurers, the Indiana Dunes State Park allows hikers of all skill levels to explore beaches, prairies, and sweeping dunes.
