This Has Been Named Indiana’s Worst Tourist Trap
If you're looking to do some fun tourism in Indiana, one website says that you don't want to waste your time at Indiana's biggest tourist trap.
Indiana is full of fun attractions. Whether it be museums, theme parks, sports venues, historical locations, or being out on a beautiful lake, Indiana has a lot to offer residents and guests alike. We all have our favorite attractions to visit in the state. Recently, we covered the best tourist attraction in Indiana, as well as the weirdest tourist attraction in Indiana. However, when it comes to tourist traps in the state, you might not want to waste your money at one place, according to one website.
What is the Worst Tourist Trap in Indiana
The website, Insider, has a list of the worst tourist traps in each state. Out of all the tourist attractions that we have here in Indiana, the NCAA Hall of Champions in Indianapolis was named the worst tourist trap in the state. Here's what Insider had to say:
With surprisingly little memorabilia on display and in dire need of a renovation, you'll be in and out of <a href="http://www.ncaahallofchampions.org/index.php" rel=" nofollow" data-analytics-module="body_link" data-analytics-post-depth="40" data-uri="d6ebef800e68333f2936be15a054a58d">this museum</a>, which pays homage to student athletes, in 30 minutes or less. If you want to learn about Hoosier basketball, you're better off heading 50 miles east to the <a href="http://www.hoopshall.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" data-analytics-module="body_link" data-analytics-post-depth="40" data-uri="5694b0955364c2898ceba212845ccc9b">Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame</a> in New Castle.
Obviously, if you aren't really into sports, this wouldn't be for you. However, if you are a big fan of sports, more specifically, collegiate sports, you actually might enjoy it. Everything I have seen on the NCAA Hall of Champions looks pretty cool. Plus, it only costs $5 per person to get into. Who cares if it takes someone 30 minutes to go through? It's only $5! So, I don't know how this is the worst tourist trap in the state.
Have you been to the NCAA Hall of Champions in Indianapolis before? If so, what did you think?
