Beginning today and running through Friday, May 30, the Urban Forestry and Street Maintenance departments will be picking-up tree debris. The "impact zone" where free removal is available is north of the Lloyd Expressway to the city limits and between St. Joseph Avenue and Green River Road.

If you live in the impact zone you can call the Street Maintenance Department at 435-7088 or 435-7089 to request a pick-up.
Pick-ups are for tree-debris only.
Limbs and logs must be no longer than 8-feet-long, and tree roots and stumps will not be accepted. Tree debris must be placed near the curb without impeding the street or sidewalk.
City employees will not enter private property to remove or retrieve storm debris.
Residents utilizing the Evansville Water & Sewer Utility trash removal services may also place tree limbs up to 4-feet-long and 2-inchs in diameter, and other yard waste, in the regular Trash Cart for pick-up by Republic Services during their regular weekly trash collection.
In addition, Republic will also empty and reload the Trash Cart one additional time for those items meeting the specified requirements. Residents should not use the Recycling Cart for tree debris.
