I suppose that the secret is out when it comes to one restaurant that was named Indiana's best-kept secret.

Indiana has a lot of great restaurants that have been open for years. These restaurants have become staples in that area where people must go whenever they are in town. They are restaurants that can even become bucket-list places to dine at. Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, there are certain places that stand out among the rest.

Some of these restaurants are pretty famous, too. As you know, there are a lot of famous restaurants throughout the country. No, I'm not talking about the big-name chain restaurants that everyone knows about because they're in practically every town. I am talking about restaurants that have become must-visit places whenever you visit a city. On the flipside, there are many restaurants in the Hoosier State that are absolutely amazing, however, they tend to fly under the radar. A lot of locals may know about them, but overall, they are simply lesser-known gems.

This Restaurant Was Named Indiana's Best-Kept Dining Secret

According to Housely, this is the best-kept dining secret in the Hoosier State can be found in Indianapolis. It's called Bluebeard. This restaurant has won multiple awards for its farm-to-table foods, wines, and creative cocktails. Here's what Housely had to say about Bluebeard.

Named after a story by Kurt Vonnegut, this spot in the historic Fletcher Place neighborhood has an adventurous and approachable menu. Its dishes focus on locally sourced ingredients and range from small plates like pork belly with pickled watermelon to hearty mains like duck confit with sweet potato gnocchi. Bluebeard is where foodies discover something new and exciting in the heart of Indy.

Now, I was looking at their menu, and it's all over the place. Everything from soups and salads, to spaghetti and octopus. Yes! They serve octopus! Not sure how I feel about that, but I will say that their dessert menu looks amazing!

If you have ever eaten at Bluebeard, what did you think? Is it worthy of being named Indiana's best-kept dining secret?
