This is Apparently the Best Cheeseburger in Indiana…but it Sounds Weird
One website found the best cheeseburger in Indiana. However, it might be the strangest burger you have ever heard of.
Who doesn't love a good burger, right? Personally, my bonus son, Carter is obsessed with cheeseburgers. Anytime I ask him what he wants for dinner, I typically get one of two answers: "I don't know" or "burgers". So last night, I saw an article about the best burger in each state. I knew that I had to find Indiana's and write this up just for Carter because I know once he sees it, we'll probably have to go on a road trip to see just how good they are and where these burgers land on his "burger ranking scale." I know once he sees it, we'll go on a deep dive over how right or wrong this article is...and I am sure we will do that over a nice juicy burger.
LoveFood ranked the best cheeseburger spots in America. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cheeseburger or a gourmet creation, you'll find a spot to satisfy your craving in Indiana. However, if you are looking for an out-of-the-ordinary burger, you might want to try out what they claim is the best cheeseburger in the Hoosier State.
This is Apparently the Best Cheeseburger in Indiana
According to LoveFood, the best cheeseburger in Indiana can be found in Indianapolis at 317 Burger. The burger itself is called Strawberry Hill, and it's essentially a spicy PB&J burger.
For some serious heat, try the Strawberry Hill at 317 Burger. It's a hot twist on a PB&J, with spicy strawberry compote, melted peanut butter, and ghost pepper cheese on top of the burger. If a burger isn't enough to fill you up, grab an order of the signature poutine or choose one of the many side dishes, including French fries and onion rings.
Now, I'll be the first to admit that this is something that I would never try for two reasons. First, I don't like spicy food. The second, I am allergic to peanut butter. Even though I am biased, this burger sounds way too strange to be the best burger in Indiana. That being said, the rest of their menu looks amazing! Strawberry Hill might be a burger that Carter would try though.
Have you ever tried Strawberry Hill at 317 Burger? Is it worth the hype?
