These are the Top Ten Drunkest Cities in Indiana
Many folks here in Indiana like to enjoy adult beverages, but where in the Hoosier State are they drinking the most?
Indiana towns are really a hot topic lately. When it comes to Indiana, we have no shortage of small towns with a few big cities scattered in there too. Everyone has small-town pride nowadays. Recently we have covered many of these towns in articles such as the worst small towns in Indiana, an Indiana small town that makes you feel like you are in a Hallmark movie, the best must-visit small town in Indiana, the best small town in Indiana, HGTV naming this Indiana town as the most charming in the state, and the most expensive place to live in Indiana.
I recently saw a list on Road Snacks that found the drunkest cities in Indiana. Now, there is really no way to know this with 100% confidence. Unless they started asking alcohol-related questions on the Census, we’ve got to rely on the algorithms that have been built to calculate these results. That's exactly what Road Snacks has created. Here's how they did it:

We threw a lot of criteria at this one in order to get the best, most complete results possible. Using Yelp and Sperling’s Best Places, this is the criteria we used:

Number of bars and pubs per capita

Number of wineries per capita

Number of liquor stores per capita

Each city’s drunk related tweets within the last week

Each city’s divorce rate

For geo-located tweets, we measured the following raw number of tweets that came from within a city’s general are: #Drunk, #Party, #Beer, #Wine and #Cocktails

Note: For the sake of getting reliable numbers, we counted places within a city’s border, as well as within a short driving distance.

Granted, some of those statistics such as the divorce rate aren't directly correlated to drinking. However, given all of that information, what are the drunkest cities in Indiana? Let's take a look.
