How Taylor Swift Inspired Word Of The Year
Cambridge Dictionary's Word Of The Year
There are various dictionaries available for daily use. Many of them publish a "word of the year". Cambridge Dictionary is one developed by Cambridge University Press, and they just announced their word of the year, which is "parasocial". According to the various research I've found, the word essentially means the following: involving or relating to a connection that someone feels between themselves and a famous person they do not know, a character in a book, film, TV series, or an artificial intelligence.
If we know anything, Swifties are serious about their T Swizzle. I'm a Swifty, but not to the extent most are. A large majority of Swifties are living a parasocial relationship with her, whether they believe it or not. Here's an interesting and comical take on Swifties:

How Exactly Did Taylor Swift Inspire The Word Of The Year?
Not only is Taylor the attraction here, but her romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, is the actual reason the word is being pedastooled. According to the Cambridge Dictionary website, this is how they came to their decision:
"Millions of fans related to Taylor Swift’s confessional lyrics about dating, heartbreak and desire, leading to what psychologists describe as "parasocial" bonds with stars. When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement, many fans felt a deep connection to the singer and American footballer, even though most had never met them."
With their entire relationship inspiring words, actions, and winning titles like these, there's no telling where this star-studded couple will lead us next. Taylor has supported the Kansas City Chiefs since the couple started dating, always making sure the football fans get a little love from the superstar singer. All I know is I'm along for the ride!
