We announced last week that Blake Shelton would be headlining this year's Big O Music Fest, August 18th in Owensboro, and now we can announce another name to the lineup.  With nine number one hits to her name, Jo Dee Messina will be joining the already huge bill of artists set to appear at the concert.

For the fourth year, The Big O Music Fest returns to Reid's Orchard in Owensboro.  This year's event will be on August 18th featuring headliner, ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee, Blake Shelton!

You heard the song this afternoon during my show, as one of the number one songs from the last 20 years.  Tracy Lawrence hit number one in 1995 with "Texas Tornado."

Tracy Lawrence has made a tradition out of helping the hungry in the Nashville area each Thanksgiving.  He recently completed the 6th annual Tracy Lawrence Turkey Fry for the Nashville Rescue Mission.

Father's Day is this Sunday and there are a ton of songs that speak to and from dads in country music.  This one  from Tracy Lawrence slipped under the rug for most country listeners just a few years ago, but I understand it now more than I ever did back then.  Check out the video to "Til I Was a Daddy Too."
