Surprise – Parts of St. Louis Area Got Up to 6 Inches of Snow

Well, nobody saw this one coming. Many parts of the St. Louis area were surprised when they woke up Saturday morning and found up to 6 inches of snow on the ground in some areas.

The National Weather Service in St. Louis did not have snow in their forecast and tried to explain why in a Facebook post this morning.

Fox 2 in St. Louis shared some video of what a winter wonderland the city had suddenly become.

As we previously shared, this is the time of year when the average first measurable snowfall occurs. This surprise storm around St. Louis makes you wonder how long before we wake up to the same sight.
