Families at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food—and you help make that possible. Become a Partner in Hope and help create more happy endings for kids battling cancer.

The staff at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, has one goal, and that's to do everything in their power to bring an end to childhood cancers and other life-threatening illnesses. This goal is something that they have gotten closer and closer to achieving since the facility opened its doors over 60 years ago in 1962. Over the course of those six decades, they've made unbelievable strides in understanding how a variety of different cancers behave and how to treat them, saving the lives of countless children along the way. Of course, that goal requires funding and support from folks like you, who can become a Partner in Hope during our annual St. Jude Radiothon with Hyundai of Evansville.

As a father, there is nothing that I wouldn't do for my children. Especially if they are sick. It's our number one priority as parents to protect our kids and keep them safe from all the dangers the world has to offer. Unfortunately, sometimes there are only so many things a parent can do. For some parents, there's one thing they can't protect their kids from, regardless of what measures they take — cancer. Once they hear the words, "Your child has cancer," their whole world changes, and their top priority becomes helping their child get better. I can't imagine that feeling. It makes me tear up just thinking about it. Fortunately, it's a battle they don't have to fight alone. You can help during the St. Jude Radiothon happening February 5th and 6th!

Become a Partner in Hope During the 2026 St. Jude Radiothon

Like past radiothons, over the course of the two days, you'll hear stories of hope from families, patients, and employees of St. Jude. Some will have happy endings, others will not. But regardless of how the stories end, they will all have a common theme —  that because of the research and treatment protocols at St. Jude, families were given more time with each other. Time they may not have had if it weren't for St. Jude. What's special about St. Jude is that no family has to pay a single dime for anything. Not for medical bills, housing while there, food, nothing. All they have to do is be there for each other. This isn't possible without funding from generous donors. That's why we encourage you to listen closely and use them as inspiration for becoming a Partner in Hope to help create fewer sad endings and more happy ones.
