WWE Hall of Famer, Kevin Nash, is Coming to Evansville!

The latest celebrity guest announcement for Evansville's Raptor Con is "Too Sweet!"

Evansville Raptor Con is coming up on September 12th and 13th. If you don't know what Raptor Con is, it is an awesome pop culture comic convention that will be happening at the Old National Events Plaza. This two-day event will bring numerous celebrities, video game competitions, cosplay contests, vendors, Q&A panels, hands-on demonstrations, and much more. Many of the vendors will be selling one-of-a-kind items. Quite a few celebrity guests have been announced already, which we'll get into in a minute. However, there has been a little bit of a change to the lineup.

As we announced back in March, WWE Hall of Famer Lita was scheduled to be one of the guests appearing at Rapor Con. However, due to a scheduling error outside of Raptor Con's control, Lita has had to postpone her appearance in Evansville to one of their later shows, which will be announced at a later date. While it's kind of a bummer that she won't be appearing in Evansville in September, it's refreshing to know that she will be coming at a later date.

As you can see with that post from Raptor Con, organizers have been hard at work with a replacement. Boy oh boy, the replacement is a big one. LITERALLY!

WWE Hall of Famer, Kevin Nash, is Coming to Raptor Con

Yep, "Big Sexy" and "Big Daddy Cool" himself will be appearing at Raptor Con this year! Kevin Nash really made a big name for himself in the early 90s as Dessel in the WWE. He became WWE's third Triple Crown Champion, capturing the WWE Championship, Intercontinental Championship, and World Tag Team Championship. Of course, he was a member of the infamous group that became known as "The Kliq," alongside Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Razor Ramon (Scott Hall), and Shawn "X-Pac" Waltman.

Then, Nash made his way to WCW in 1996, where he, along with Scott Hall and the late Hulk Hogan, made history by creating one of the greatest factions of all time, the NWO. This group literally changed the landscape of professional wrestling. I mean, the NWO were the cool bad guys back in the 90s.

Because of the impact that Kevin Nash left on the wrestling business, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame not once, but twice! He was inducted for his contributions back in 2015 and again in 2020 as a part of the NWO.

Outside of his professional wrestling career, he has appeared in several films too. You might recognize Kevin Nash from movies such as "The Longest Yard," "Magic Mike," "The Punisher," "John Wick," and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Secret of the Ooze". Now, you'll have the chance to meet this icon at Raptor Con in Evansville.

Of course, Kevin Nash will not be the only celebrity who will be appearing at Evansville Rapor Con on September 12th and 13th.
