SCAM ALERT: Beware of Scams Circulating Around the Tristate

We received a phone call about a scam involving your car. According to the listener, the scammer will text you and say they are from Napa Auto Parts Store. They will then proceed to tell you that Napa wants to wrap your vehicle and will pay you money to do it.

They will then send you a check, you are then asked to deposit the check and take a photo of the deposit slip. Then you are asked to send them the pic of your deposit slip. THAT is how they get your account info.

NEVER, EVER text or tell anybody your bank account info.
