Road Trip Alert: Murder Mystery Date Night at the Kentucky Castle

The Kentucky Castle is offering several Murder Mystery Dinners that you and your significant other would love!

The Kentucky Castle is a hotel, restaurant, and spa located in Versailles, Kentucky (right outside of Lexington). If you've never been before, you should! You can make it a weekend trip staying over night, or you can simply make it a day to take a tour and eat at their restaurant.

While just visiting is nice, The Kentucky Castle is offering a few unique events that makes visiting more entertaining. They will be offering several Murder Mystery Dinners on the rooftop of the castle.

The Murder Mystery Dinners will feature a plated dinner on the Castle rooftop, with tables of six and social distancing measures in place. The Murder Mystery Dinner theatre performance will be during sunset. Here's the cool think: one guest who solves the mystery will win a free night's stay!

According to the event page, the performance will be called "Murder at Midnight!" They also gave a brief synopsis of the murder mystery that you can see below:

Four couples who live in an upscale cul de sac in Santa Barbara, California gather for a neighborhood cocktail party. They soon learn that the pool boy who cleans and maintains each of their pools has been found dead. Its the desperate housewives of Santa Barbara!

As mentioned, there will be social distancing safety measures in place for the Murder Mystery Dinners that include:

• Seating will be at “socially distanced, private tables” of six on the Castle Rooftop.
• All guests purchase tickets as a group within their own households.
• They will require temperature checks prior to entry.
• Guests will be asked to wear masks at all times when not seated.
• All staff will wear masks.

There are several dates that you can choose from for the Murder Mystery Dinner. Some dates have already sold out, but you can see the full list of dates below:

1. July 15th at 7:30 p.m.
2. July 22nd at 7:30 p.m.
3. August 5th at 7:30 p.m.
4. August 12th at 7:30 p.m.
