Most of the tri-state are is under a heat advisory warning to day and tomorrow with temperatures soaring into the upper 90's and the heat index being somewhwere between 105 and 115. As a result, the Red Cross will open cooling stations today and tomorrow to assist those who need to cool off. The locations are:

American Red Cross Office - Evansville at the Lloyd and Stockwell. Open Monday 11am-4p and Tuesday 9am-4pm

American Red Cross _ Warrick County 404 E. Walnut Street, Boonville. Open Monday 11am-4pm and Tuesday 9am-4pm

American Red Cross - Gibson County 312 W. State St. Princeton. Open Monday 11am-4pm and Tuesday 9am-4pm.

American Red Cross - Posey County 402 Mill Street, Mt. Vernon. Open Monday 11am-4pm and Tuesday 9am-4pm.

American Red Cross - Dubois County 312 N. Main Street, Huntingburg. Open Monday 11am-4pm and Tuesday 9am-4pm.

American Red Cross - Henderson, KY 300 Center Street, Henderson. Open Monday 11am-4pm and Tuesday 9am-4pm.
