Scrolling through social media, we have all seen an intense amount of negativity, anger, judging and blame when it comes to the coronavirus outbreak and, because of it, the changes we are experiencing in our everyday lives. Frankly, I'm sick of it. I had to just stay off of social media last night. And I get it, I'm scared and filled with some anxiety too. I know we all handle stress differently, but why make matters worse?

So, this morning, I just focused on the good of social media. I looked for the helpers. The ones who aren't sitting around complaining, but are doing what needs to be done and HELPING others too.

A quote from Mr. Rogers keeps going though my head.

When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me,  'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'

And I did, I found so many great things that made me laugh a little, made me proud of my friends and made me tear up with hope and love.

Here are just some of the things I found.

Earlier today, my sister sent me this pic of my niece and granddaughter making pics for the elderly people in a nursing home nearby that can no longer have visitors.
