Ohio's Kings Island Halloween Events Returns in September

Who's ready to ride rides and get scared at the same time this Halloween season?! Kings Island's Halloween Haunt and Tricks and Treats Fall Fest return in September.

King's Island, located right outside Cincinnati, Ohio, is one of the best amusement parks. Not only is the park massive, but the rides there are fantastic. It's a place that my family and I have visited ever since I was a kid. That being said, one thing that I have not experienced there is the spooky thrill of visiting Kings Island around Halloween. However, I might change that this year because I really want to see Kings Island's Halloween Haunt firsthand.

Kings Island's Halloween Haunt 2023

Kings Island will play host to Halloween Haunt once again this year. The event will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and select Sundays, September 22 through October 28, 2023. Here's what Kings Island says about Halloween Haunt:

The fully transformed amusement park features bone-chilling scare mazes and scare zones, sinister live entertainment, and hundreds of horrifying creatures lurking in the fog and hiding in every corner of the park waiting for you. Haunting Halloween activities plus some of the most exhilarating night rides in the country, including The Beast, Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee make this one of the best things to do for Halloween in the Cincinnati area.

Tricks and Treats Fall Fest 2023

Tricks and Treats Fall Fest is a family-friendly Halloween event that you won't want to miss out on...especially if you aren't one who is a fan of being scared. Tricks and Treats Fall Fest runs Saturdays and Sundays, September 24 through October 29, 2023. According to Kings Island's website, here's a little taste of what you can expect:

Make no bones about it, Kings Island's Tricks and Treats Fall Fest is set to be the area’s favorite Halloween event. Everyone in the family—from tots to tweens to grown-ups—will have a spooktacular time with fun fall activities, specialty food and craft beers, games and game shows, music entertainment, trick-or-treating, and so much more!
