Winterfest at Kings Island in Ohio Returns This Month
This holiday season, you can visit Kings Island to enjoy a magical Winterfest full of Christmas lights, food, ice skating, rides, and so much more!
King's Island, located right outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, is one of the best amusement parks around. Not only is the park massive, but the rides there are fantastic. It's a place that my family and I have visited ever since I was a kid. Most amusement parks close down for the season in the fall, however, that isn't the case with Kings Island. They are open throughout November and December to celebrate the holidays in an amazing way.
What is Winterfest at Kings Island?
Kings Island will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland full of lights, entertainment, and more. According to Kings Island:
WinterFest is an unforgettable holiday experience where Kings Island transforms into 12 enchanting winter wonderlands. Voted in 2022 as one of the top Theme Park Holiday Events in the country by USA TODAY readers, the annual event features ice skating on the Royal Fountain, the Eiffel Tower turned into a magical Christmas tree, the WinterFest Wonderland Parade, more than seven million lights and live entertainment throughout the park. Plus, experience more than 20 rides including Mystic Timbers and Kings Mills Antique Autos.
Kings Island WinterFest Dates
Kings Island's WinterFest 2022 will be open on select nights beginning on November 24 through December 31.
