We Now Know Where One Indiana Wawa Will Be Located
In December we shared the news that East Coast convenience store chain, Wawa would be expanding its operations into Indiana, as well as Kentucky and Ohio. We now know where one of those Indiana locations will be.
Wawa Makes Best Headlines
With nearly 1,000 stores, Wawa employs 40,000 people. The convenience store chain has been recognized as one of "America's Best Retailers" by Newsweek, and as "One of America's Best Companies for Veterans" by Forbes.
No Wawa Until 2025
As we previously reported, we won't see Wawa stores opening their doors in the Hoosier State until 2025, but we now know where one of those stores will be located. With each store, the company adds around 30-40 employees.
Wawa Indiana Location
It was an announcement at a city council meeting that spilled the beans on the new location that will be part of a $72 million mixed-use Midland Pointe development being built in Noblesville, Indiana. Midland Pointe will span 34 acres at the intersection of Indiana State Road 32 and Hazel Dell Parkway on the city's west side. A public park called The Grove will be located along the north end of the pond and adjacent to the restaurants.
The developers expect outdoor dining and other activities will take place at The Grove, which will be accessed from a trail spur off the Midland Trace Trail.
