The holidays are fast approaching, and this year you won't want to miss taking your family on this exciting train ride!  In Noblesville, Indiana, you will find a great holiday experience, jam-packed with festive treats and scenes.  Go trick-or-treating on a family-friendly train ride or play dress-up with your friends and solve a murder mystery.  For those of age, try a spirited trip reminiscent of the Old West, with a whiskey-centric ride through the countryside of Indiana.

Coming soon in November and December, you can jump aboard the Ho Ho Homicide Express to tackle a murder mystery.  If an ugly sweater Christmas party is more your style, they have that fashion mystery for you to solve as well.  The Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad has a wide selection of fun for everyone!

NOT JUST A TRAIN RIDE

If you can't catch the train during the holiday season, fear not; there are ample opportunities for other adventures.  In fact, you can even rent a private caboose for an office party, bachelor or bachelorette party, or whatever your heart desires. There are also options to join the engineer on the locomotive, giving a first-hand experience of directing the train.

If more activity is what you desire, try boarding their murder mystery train, an interactive, role-playing extravaganza that comes with Caesar salad, breadsticks and lasagna.  As role-playing a character is part of this, they ask participants to dress the part upon arrival.  Other available themed experiences include a 2-hour ride just for reading, Dracula's birthday bash, Golden Girls Trivia, and a Bourbon and Bacon themed ride.
