New Southern Restaurant Coming To Former Evansville Taco Tierra Location

If you have driven past the former Taco Tierra location on Evansville's east side, you may have noticed a new "Coming Soon" sign. Sam's Southern Eatery has announced that it will be taking over the building located on South Green River Road.

Sam's Southern Eatery, offers a variety of southern style foods like Po' Boys, burgers, chicken, seafood, and more! They are known for their jumbo shrimp. According to Sam's website, "In 2008 we opened our first location in Shreveport, Louisiana; we have now grown to over fifty-one locations in nine Southern states with over 750 employees."

No opening date has been announced for the upcoming Evansville restaurant. In fact, this is the first location in Indiana for Sam's Southern Eatery. We will keep you updated with further developments as we get them.
