Yellowstone's Luke Grimes Is Trying His Hand At Music

In case you missed the hit TV show, Yellowstone, you missed out on a lot of good music! Multiple musicians were part of the show, as characters and cameos. Ryan Bingham and Lainey Wilson had recurring roles in the show, but others also appeared. In fact, most people do not know this: Kevin Costner has been part of a band called Kevin Costner & Modern West for years. While he and the band were never featured on the show, his country mixed with rock sound is worth checking out. Other artists who appeared on the show include Zach Bryan, Turnpike Troubadours, and Whiskey Myers. Of all the music and musicians that were featured or attempted to sing while on the show, star Luke Grimes was never one of them. However, he's just released his first single, just in time for St. Patrick's Day.

Luke Grimes Likes To Drink, Drink, Drink

Luke Grimes recently moved to Montana and decided to try his hand at music. The new single, "Drink, Drink, Drink," is from the upcoming album, Redbird, which will be released on April 3rd. Redbird will be the second full album from Grimes, who released his first full self-titled album in 2024, following the release of his debut EP, Pain Pills or Pews, in 2023. On a recent podcast, Grimes explained that his desire to write music came from one of the last conversations he had with his father. Here's what he said on the podcast:

"One of the last things he sort of conveyed to me was, 'If there's anything that you want to do while you are here, do it.'  Something about that moment, I said, 'I'm just gonna [effing] do it. What's the worst thing that could happen?  I'm another actor who made a goofy album.'"
