One Kentucky city found itself among the top five worst cities for driving in the country. Chances are, you probably know which one it is.

While Kentucky is full of roads that offer great scenery and make for a great Sunday drive, we also have a few sketchy roads throughout the state. Whether they are very narrow, curvy, crowded with other drivers, or just full of potholes, I'm sure we can all think of a few roads that we tend to try to avoid. Furthermore, there are a few cities in the state where driving is much more hectic. As it turns out, one of those cities actually landed on a recent report of the most dangerous cities in the country for driving.

Which Kentucky City is Among the Most Dangerous Cities for Driving?

U.S. News & World Report recently released a study of the 50 largest U.S. cities to determine which are the safest and riskiest for drivers. According to the study:

To determine which cities are the safest and least safe for driving, we looked into the following data: fatal car accidents, people involved in a fatal accident, fatality rates per 100 million miles traveled, DUI arrests, and vehicle theft.

As it turns out, Louisville, Kentucky is came in as the fifth most dangerous city in America for drivers. To be honest, I was not surprised to find Louisville, Kentucky, on the list. While I love visiting Louisville, I have always dreaded driving in the city. Whether it be because of congested driving, aggressive drivers, or the abundance of construction, I have never been a fan of being behind the wheel in Louisville. What did surprise me, though, is how high Louisville ranked among the list of most dangerous cities for driving.
