Leanne Morgan Coming to the Owensboro Sportscenter

We're 20 years into YouTube, and I use it now more than ever before. It's a great work tool, but it's also where I discover standup comics. And it was about six or seven years ago, when my algorithm led me to Leanne Morgan.

The Tennessee native and University of Tennessee alumna reeled me in by sounding just like the majority of people I grew up around. If I'd learned she was a member of my family, and I'd never known that, I wouldn't have been surprised.

Her Netflix specials have been huge hits, and her relatively new Netflix sitcom, Leanne, is hilarious, perfectly tapping into Morgan's style and easing it comfortably into some really funny dialogue.

I'm not sure how much of the series makes a cameo during her standup performances, but we're going to find out on Thursday, November 19th, when Leanne Morgan brings "The Time of Our Lives" Tour to the Owensboro Sportscenter at 7 PM. It will mark Morgan's return to Owensboro; she and her family vacationed here when she was young.
