It's no secret that Holiday Drive-In is one of the hot spots in the Tri-State during the summer months. This drive-in theater, located in Reo, Indiana, has been a staple of the Evansville area since it opened its first screen in 1955. The Holiday Drive-In is now one of the oldest American drive-in theaters still in operation. Plus, it's the largest drive-in (with the most screens) in the state of Indiana.

Holiday Drive-In Opening Weekend 2026

Fans of the drive-in will be happy to know that Holiday Drive-In will be opening up for the season very soon. I, for one, can't wait to see some of these upcoming blockbusters this summer at the drive-in, while eating as many of those delicious double cheeseburgers as possible!

The Holiday Drive-In just announced on Facebook that it will soon be opening up for the season. Mark your calendars for May 1st, when the six-screen drive-in theater will officially open up for the 2026 season. They will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. While movies for the opening weekend will be announced at a later date, at least we know when we can start visiting the drive-in for the summer.

Tickets are $12.00 for adults, and for children 4-11 are $6.00. Be sure to follow Holiday Drive-In on Facebook for all of the latest updates throughout the season. How to Win a 2026 Season Pass to The Holiday Drive-In

Now, I know that you would love to be the winner of the one and only season pass to the Holiday Drive-In. Only 99.5 WKDQ has your chance to win! All you have to do is download the WKDQ App and enter to win via the form at the bottom of this page by Monday, April 20th at 10 AM CST.

On April 21st, we will randomly select a total of 5 qualifiers for the season pass to the Holiday Drive-In. Qualifiers will then meet up at the Holiday Drive-In on Friday, May 1st, before the movies start to give away the grand prize.

Each qualifier will be given a car pass good for them and three guests to enter the drive-in that evening FOR FREE.
Each qualifier will also get a free bucket of popcorn and 2 large drinks, courtesy of the Holiday Drive-In.
They will then meet up in front of the main concession stand on the Screen 1 side with the representatives from 99.5 WKDQ, so the giveaway can begin around 7:00 PM.
All five qualifiers will be given an envelope.
Only one of these envelopes will have the Season Pass.
They will then be instructed to open the envelopes to see who is walking away with the Season Pass.
After that, all qualifiers (and the grand prize winner) will be able to stay for the movies for free!

The season pass will only be valid for the person whose name is on the certificate and three guests. Can not be used by anyone else. Good for one night per week through the remainder of the season.
