It’s A Doggone Shame the NFL Didn’t Have Teams Named after “Dog Breeds”

It’s been said that a dog is a man’s best friend. Did you ever notice that the NFL Football teams have no teams named after “dog breeds?” You’ve got horses (Colts, Broncos) cats (Panthers, Jaguars) birds (Cardinals, Ravens) and other unique names, but no dogs!

What would your favorite football team be named if you had any choice in renaming it with a “dog breed” name?
