‘Idol’ Producer Comes To Country

Carrie Underwood, Bucky Covington, Kellie Pickler and more have made a name for themselves over the last 10 years of "American Idol."  For a show that was originally designed to create pop stars, "Idol" has done a lot of good for country!  Maybe that's why executive producer Nigel Lythgoe and his son Simon have decided to produce a new show for CMT, focusing on singing and songwriting.  How different will it be from "American Idol?"
