Warmer, almost Spring-like temperatures are in the forecast for the entire Tri-State this weekend with a high temperature of 60 forecast for Sunday. But before we get there, it looks like Old Man Winter is going to give us one more thing to deal with.

After bitter cold temperatures and snow earlier in the week, the National Weather Service in Paducah has released a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain tonight into tomorrow morning. Here's what's expected to happen:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 AM CST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Very light freezing rain or freezing drizzle is expected.
Total ice accumulations from a trace to less than a tenth of an
inch expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Indiana, southeast Missouri,
western Kentucky and southern Illinois.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Friday.

Despite being listed as only "a trace to less than a tenth of inch" of accumulation, any amount of ice could cause issues on morning travel which could lead to more school delays and closings.

In advance of the possible precipitation, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says they will have drivers and trucks on standby to treat the roads if necessary.
