Freeze Warning in Effect for Most of Tri-State Through Tuesday Morning
The first day of Spring was nearly four weeks ago. Will someone please tell Mother Nature? This is getting ridiculous.
Just a few days after we enjoyed temperatures in the 70s (I mowed my lawn in a t-shirt and shorts on Friday!), we're now dealing with February-like temperatures, and a FREEZE WARNING for Monday night into Tuesday morning! In April!
The National Weather Service in Paducah announced the Warning Monday morning on Twitter.
The good news is that it doesn't appear this cold spell will last long. Eyewitness News is forecasting temperatures to jump back into the low 60s by Tuesday afternoon and remain in the upper 50s to low 60s through the rest of the week. Of course, we thought we were past the cold temperatures last week too, so take this with a grain of salt.
