With the recent round of rain, and more expected to fall over the next few days, the National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Flood Watch for most of western Kentucky through Thursday night.

While the amount of rain forecast to fall isn't expected to cause river levels to rise past flood stage so we shouldn't see the type of flooding we saw a few weeks back, but lower lying areas of western Kentucky will likely see some minor flooding of roadways and ditches.

As with anytime there is flooding across roadways, be smart and don't test fate by driving through it. Turn around, don't drown, as they say!
