Flash Flood Warning For Some Of The Tri-State

As we see remnants of Hurricane Harvey, some areas of the Tri-State could see up to 4 inches of rain and that has caused the National Weather Service to issue a Flash Flood Warning.

The NWS has issued a Flash Flood warning for Ohio and Muhlenberg counties in Kentucky.

  Butler County in south central Kentucky...
  Grayson County in central Kentucky...
  Ohio County in central Kentucky...
  Edmonson County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 930 AM CDT

* At 330 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
  warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Leitchfield, Hartford, Morgantown, Brownsville, Casey, Lee, Beaver
  Dam, Clarkson, Caneyville and Fordsville.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM CDT FOR
MUHLENBERG AND TODD COUNTIES...

At 347 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from the remnants
of Harvey continuing to rotate northwest into the warned area. The
heaviest rains since midnight have been across southern Todd County
where 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches of rain has fallen. Radar estimates
between one and two inches has fallen across Muhlenberg County.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the
warned area as moderate to sometimes heavy rain moves north and
northwest into the area.
