They say, "cash is king." And, with prices on everything being stupid high, we could all use some extra cash in our bank accounts these days to help cover those costs. Beginning in mid-September and running until mid-October, we gave you the chance to win cash, up to $30,000, with a game we call, the Cash Cow. When all was said and done, one lucky listener scored that 30 grand which will no doubt come in really handy these days.

Each weekday throughout the month, we announced 10 - 3-digit codes, one each hour between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. All you needed to do was listen for those codes and enter them on our website or app for the chance to win. In addition to a shot at the $30,000 grand prize, each code also carried with it the chance to win $100, two of which were won by local residents, Connie McCarty and Nanette Bittner of Evansville.

Meet Kandy Stallworth. Kandy earns her living working for the railroad. Kandy says she listened to the radio while on her way home to get the codes, then entered the codes through the station app. While she didn't catch them all, she caught several, and even though it only takes one entry to win, the fact she entered as often as she could clearly paid off as she now has an extra $30,000 to use however she wants.

When asked what her plans were for the money, Kandy revealed that her dad was sick and she is currently taking care of him. So, this win couldn't have come at a better time.

Congratulations Kandy! And, keep listening for more chances to win cash and other great prizes in the near future.
